This is the most ridiculously biased article I have ever seen. It sounds like he wrote it himself. -- Azimuth1 | Talk | 00:47, 18 August 2006

I agree

I concur; the last couple of paragraphs in particular. TheMoog 19:39, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is nothing more than the persons family or something. Whoever it is really likes him.

You should probably do a little more research with the speaker agencies in the UK. Simon is extremely popular on the speaking circuit and the audience comments quoted in this article are common.

Yeah, dude, get with it. Simon Woodroffe was around when they used to do peace signs and mean them. Not only when they used to do peace signs. No. They meant them! We know because it says so in the encyclopedia! Dekimasu 13:11, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited it down to something closer to an NPOV format, though I think that it could still benefit from more source citation etc. Still, it's a lot better now than it was previously!

The first sentence and the fourth sentence disagree. Was the chain started in 1997 or 1998? I myself don't know, so I added the tag. Dekimasu 16:37, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Yo! Sushi's website states that the chain was founded in January 1997. Edit made and tag removed. Ajcham 14:11, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to Simon, at a speach he gave yesterday at Staffordshire university, he only has 2 O-levels

Departure from Dragon's Den

[edit]

He only did one series, while e.g. Peter Jones has stuck with it for years. Did he leave or was he dropped? It would be good to include this information in the article. Wyddgrug (talk) 19:36, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to Early Life Section

[edit]

Hi Wikipedians, this would add some information to the Early Life Section.

"Woodroffe took a job in London as a theatre stagehand, before becoming a roadie and then stage designer for artists such as Rod Stewart, the Moody Blues and Jethro Tull."

All info sourced in this BBC article. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-27938824

Does it look like a good addition? Fox3990 (talk) 17:12, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
