Potential COI

[edit]

WP:RS appears to be used as a blanket reason for reverting edits on this article, including basic formatting issues like "more" vs "+" or history corroborated by earlier accepted references. Editors should note WP:COI and WP:VANDAL guidelines and propose improvements on the talk page. WP:AGF dictates the use of {{fact}} or ({{cn}} within reason if in doubt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cara Wellington (talkcontribs) 09:49, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, there are some suggested edits to this page please:

1. the old logo is in use. the firm rebranded several years ago and has a new logo 2. the firm now has offices in 22 different countries, not 20 3. the art collection link is broken 4. the page needs a cleanup as there is a warning

Thank you.

Hi, here are some answers to your request:
  1. You can upload the new logo from their website and replace the old logo yourself.
  2. A source needs to be provided that says this
  3. The paragraph that the source used was either promo or non-notable information, so I removed it.
  4. If there are changes you would like to make to clean up the article, please suggest them below. The banner already informs editors on Wikipedia that this article needs to be fixed.
I have closed the request. A new one may be opened later if you so wish. Z1720 (talk) 16:48, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Updates

[edit]

The current information box is for a company. This needs to be updated to a law firm information box and latest financials including Revenue and Profits per equity partner need to be included.

Article also needs to be edited to include new office in the US (https://www.fnlondon.com/articles/simmons-simmons-set-for-us-launch-20220224). Might also be worth including that this law firm acted for Chelsea Football Club in relation to it's sale after then owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government due to his links with Vladimir Putin who invaded Ukraine in February 2022 (https://www.globalfootballlegal.com/post/simmons-advising-on-chelsea-sale).
