Review for no longer being stub. More detail available. Worth doing? Palmeira (talk) 17:38, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Categories and "Class"
[edit]I was blundering about trying to create a "class" subcategory for these under "Category:Survey ships of the United States Navy" to follow the two existing subcategories. I got help and in the process reconsidered the whole idea. The entire list of USN survey ships is pretty short, very short compared to most other naval ship groups. Does it make real search aid sense to split that small group up into subcategories of four, three, two and even one ship "class" subcategories? Would an article, somewhat along the AGS-26/AGS-33 pattern here, dealing with survey ship "classes" make more sense? Each ship of the class could have a Wiki link to the heading for the group in the article and also get an overview of the survey ships of other little classes.
