Choctaw ancestry
[edit]It would appear that Fisher was a direct descendant of George W. Harkins, but I'm not sure if Fisher was enrolled. If anybody can find a source, that would be greatly appreciated. Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 11:56, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
His mother, Emma Fisher, is listed on the Dawes Rolls as 1/4th Choctaw by blood. Given that the Choctaw Nation goes by lineal descent, I think it would be fair to assume he was a citizen? Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 03:58, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
