Use of Answers.com as reference
[edit]Answers.com uses Wikipedia as a reference and the articles posted there are subject to change as easily as those in Wikipedia. As such, they probably shouldn't be used as references in Wikipedia, since it leads to circular referencing. The reference in question, dealing with the Sherman Silver Purchase Act does show a bibliography, and this article should be reworked to use at least those four sources.
This article does not maintain a neutral stance.
"Banker J. P. Morgan heroically stepped in to form a syndicate that saved the U.S. with a massive gold loan"
Aren't the 'heroics' subjective? 67.22.211.139 (talk) 00:48, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I had thought Sherman Act was Sherman Act - this one concerning the silver, not realizing there was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherman_Anti_Trust_Act as well which is also called the Sherman Act.

That both were passed in July of 1890 did not help. But when I saw Sherman Act in the business law book, I did a double take as I though it was this silver purchase repealed in 1893 and boy was I in for a shock. I honestly did not know. The July 1890 and the same name make the matter a bit confusing for someone with ADHD. Fx303 (talk) 18:56, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
