Quoting the New York Times headline:

Black Officer Who Was Given K.K.K. Sign by Chief Files Civil Rights Complaint

The episode on June 25 was captured in a surveillance video obtained by lawyers for Keith Pool, the first Black police officer in Sheffield Lake, Ohio.^[1]

The mayor reportedly apologized to the officer and appears to have fired the police chief, who is also reported to have resigned.^[2] Larry Koenigsberg (talk) 18:20, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
