Notability concern
[edit]This "new" version today looks very similar to the draft that Praxidicae only moved it to yesterday. There is also an older draft version too which was also not given the green light. @Tesleemah: The idea of a draft is that you have an opportunity to build the article and have it assessed by someone to ensure it meets WP:GNG. Is there a reason why you didn't build it in draft space then submit it for review? Bungle (talk • contribs) 13:02, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
The previous draft was not well written and citation is poor , this is why I decided to start afresh.
Kindly check, they are not the same thing. The article has been improved upon and we'll cited Tesleemah (talk) 13:25, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
I just checked now, two references were mixed up and it has been corrected. Thanks for calling my attention to it Tesleemah (talk) 13:30, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Tesleemah: My point is that, if someone (and in this instance, an administrator, but largely anyone) moves a page to the draftspace, it's probably because it needs some significant improvement before being suitable for mainspace. You would have been better to make the changes on the draft article first then submit it for review, as at least then someone else would have also agreed (if "passed") that the subject is notable enough. This is especially important when the biography is of a living person. What I see on the article is mentions of her leaving school, sustaining a minor injury and being nominated, but not winning, an award. I don't see any clear assertion of notability at this time and I would still suggest this is not suitable for mainspace. Bungle (talk • contribs) 14:48, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
She won BON award and it has been included in the article with citations backing it up. You can check again Tesleemah (talk) 15:28, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Tesleemah: If you're referring to this citation, then it clearly indicates her as being in a nomination list but another person in the list has "winner" next to their name, not her. Even *if* she was a winner, it needs multiple WP:SIGCOV which I am not seeing. Bungle (talk • contribs) 15:33, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
