Your information is very precise and neutral, which is good to have in a wikipedia article. However, I noticed that you did not mention any examples related to sex determinism in Silene. Maybe you could include another plant species where a single chromosome also plays a huge part in its sex determinism, or look into some protists (although they may get really complicated). Other than XY and XX in humans

The article seems be unaware that in human beings, it's possible to have a situation other than XX (female) or XY (male) - see, for example, XYY syndrome. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 23:56, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
