First identified when?
[edit]According to the lead, the servant songs were first identified by Bernhard Duhm in 1892. Ughh ... shouldn't there be, well, an actual citation here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.49.181.61 (talk) 16:59, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
Vote to remove template from 2015
[edit]The template suggestion has been in place since 2015, and now it's 2022. Per the template guide, this is now old (and unanswered). I vote for removal. Please remove this tag from the page: {{Religious text primary|date=November 2015}}

- I agree. It should be removed. If no one else does, I will. Seb773 (talk) 05:21, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
Objective Scholar Interpretation
[edit]When reading things like the Hindu Vedas, we do not allow a practitioner to tell us what the texts mean for obvious reasons. Someone steeped in a religion's dogma cannot give an unbiased evaluation. Same goes for "Jewish" and "Christian" interpretations of bible texts. Therefore, this article is severely flawed because it is only consulting those who have already bought into the supernatural claims of the religion for its exegesis. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8C0:980:E520:BCB5:AA4F:9747:7065 (talk) 22:35, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
