Redundant information

Someone added redundant information from the SKS page. This page should be about Simonov and should ony mention his weapons in passing, letting specific pages on them speak. If no objection is presented shortly, I will remove the redundant material.--Cerejota 03:58, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to imply that Simonov had a hand in inventing the Garand and M16. I am reasonably sure that is not how it is meant to be read, but it is easily misunderstood as such.
