Please explain what is going on here
[edit]User:Heinztabs and User:Northheavensky: Can either of you please explain what is going on with this article? I see a lot of reverting in the history. I came across it because Northheavensky added an {{edit semi-protected}} template to this talk page without any request (and the page isn't protected anyway). Regards, DesertPipeline (talk) 11:13, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- I edited the article based on the reference, but the other editor called it "vandalism" for no reasons Heinztabs (talk) 02:04, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- If your edits get reverted without proper explanation again, User:Heinztabs, I suggest you visit WP:Editor assistance/Requests to ask for help from an uninvolved neutral third party. Hope this can be resolved amicably. Regards, DesertPipeline (talk) 04:27, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
User:Northheavensky: The sources you're citing claiming this is an Indonesian sport are talking about something called "Sepak Takraw". Please stop reverting without discussion. This is the final time I'm asking you to do this – I will have to report this to WP:Administrator's noticeboard/Edit warring if you revert again without discussion. DesertPipeline (talk) 09:13, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
User:DesertPipeline: See, he also changed and destroyed the content on the article. This article discusses “Indonesian footvolley” (Indonesian spelling: Sepak raga), Indonesian footvolley variations such as (Minangkabau) Sipak Rago and (Bugis) Paraga. Nothing to do with "Malaysia". Several countries also have their own version of the sport such as Cuju from China, Chinlone from Myanmar, Sipà from the Philippines, and takraw from Thailand and Laos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Northheavensky (talk • contribs) 10:06, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Discuss it with User:Heinztabs rather than just repeatedly reverting then (whether or not you're correct, it still counts as edit warring). I don't know anything about this subject myself; I only saw with an Internet search that at least one website describes this as Malaysian. Please discuss this with Heinztabs. Thank you, DesertPipeline (talk) 09:25, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
@Heinztabs:: This article discusses the Indonesian version of footvolley, you can create a new page for your country's version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Northheavensky (talk • contribs) 13:12, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Northheavensky:: Nope, this article is about sepak raga and not Indonesian sepak raga. As per the references, Indonesian sepak raga cames from Malaysia. Heinztabs (talk) 23:24, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

- Are there sources for both positions here? If so, how about writing the article to mention both? I think that would be a good compromise. Each of you can work on a section in the article talking about the one you're familiar with. Regards, DesertPipeline (talk) 18:14, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- By the way, User:Northheavensky: Please remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes (
