What was the specific relationship with Hanjin-Senator?
[edit]According to this article, Hanjin Shipping acquired full control of Senator in 1997 and Senator was renamed "Senator Lines" in 2000. But, then the article jumps to "By combining its container fleet with Hanjin, the newly created Hanjin-Senator..." When did that happen? How was Hanjin-Senator structured and what was its relationship with Senator, Hanjin Shipping, and Hanjin?
According to Hanjin-Senator (which also doesn't give a founded date), the parents of Hanjin-Senator were Hanjin Shipping and Senator Lines. This makes it sound like Hanjin-Senator was almost a joint venture of the two with both being direct subsidiaries of Hanjin? But, in this article, it was Hanjin Shipping (subsidiary of Hanjin) that acquired Senator. So, was Hanjin-Senator a joint venture between Senator Lines and its parent Hanjin Shipping?
Also, oddly, this article says Hanjin-Senator ceased operations in 2009 but Hanjin-Senator says Senator Lines ceased operations in 2009. Seems like those statements should be clarified on both: "Senator Lines ceased operations in 2009 causing Hanjin Shipping to shut down Hanjin-Senator as well. Hanjin Shipping continued operations until 2017." Or whatever the reality is. That's my understanding from this article, Hanjin-Senator, and Hanjin Shipping (which unhelpfully has no mention of Senator Lines or Hanjin-Senator) but I haven't yet been able to find a reliable source that lays this out clearly.
Any help clarifying would be appreciated. DatraxMada (talk) 07:33, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
