Found corrupt, then put in charge? Say what?

After the MDC party launched a probe which identified her as corrupt, she rejoined the ZANU-PF, them resigned from this position in 2004. In 2006, she was appointed head of a commission that ran the Harare City Council's affairs until December 2008.

Can that possibly be right? Was there such a shortage of commission members that someone who was found corrupt was recycled and appointed an overseer? Should the article make any attempt to clarify that, or is it a "politics—there you go" sort of thing? – AndyFielding (talk) 23:29, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
