Youngest head coach

[edit]

Art Lewis is the youngest. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 23:38, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • But he wasn't the youngest hired head coach, and none of the current sources that I've seen mention him either, so I think trying to mention him in this article would be WP:OR unless you found a source that actually stated it. Not to mention that interim head coaches, as Lewis apparently was, are often considered a separate thing. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 00:56, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • ESPN is calling him the youngest coach in NFL history, which is flat-out wrong. Curly Lambeau was 21 when he became the Packers head coach (where he stayed for 30 years), and there are other examples besides Art Lewis. In fact, I'm not seeing any sources calling him the youngest "hired" coach. That looks like its own type of OR intended to mitigate the error in the news sources. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots03:09, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Assistant coaches under Sean McVay who have become NFL head coaches

[edit]

John Fassel was only an interim coach after Jeff Fisher got fired. He, wasn't under Mcvay and then became a head coach. I don't know if it makes sense to even include interim coaches.
