Entrapment by DEA, Trial, Not Guilty
[edit]The article needs a section on Scott's other trial (which I attended as a journalist) on charges wherein the DEA sent in a disturbed covert undercover agent (female) who was herself on drugs prescribed by a disturbed psychiatrist, (which psychiatrist later committed suicide). Female agent attempted to entrap Camil, who was shot in the back by these agents handling the female agent/informant. Camil survived and was acquitted. In addition, agents then were re-assigned to Miami and reportedly began acting like "cowboys" whereafter a PR campaign involving a television show's creation ensued. Issues with Camil's current titles
[edit]Scott Camil is indeed the current President of Veterans for Peace, Chapter 14, in Gainesiville, Florida.
He is also the Political Chair for the Suwanee St. Johns Sierra Club.
Document, from VFP 14's site, crediting him as President and not Coordinator: http://www.vfpgainesville.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Peace-Poetry-Letter-2011.pdf
