Railroad Murder of Thomas Briggs
[edit]I recommend that the history section include a statement on the Railroad Murder of Thomas Briggs described on the page Franz Muller with the work done by Detective Inspector Richard Tanner of Scotland Yard. More details in Trial Of Franz Muller - DutchTreat (talk) 12:06, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Future name change
[edit]I would like to hear what others think about a future name change of this article. In my opinion, Scotland Yard should only be used for the current building in which the Met are based. I think that as and when the Met move, this article should then be renamed "Ten, Broadway" as opposed to "Scotland Yard". As I'm sure other's know, the force are moving out of the current building and into the Curtis Green Building towards the end of this year and into the next. When that happens, I would expect the Curtis Green Building article (which I created today) to then be renamed to "Scotland Yard". CassiantoTalk 17:25, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
First motor car
[edit]It was mentioned on Yesterday tonight (October 19 2017) that the first motor car arrived at Scotland Yard in 2017. This could be mentioned in the article, in its history section. Vorbee (talk) 19:53, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I don't understand. I'm sure there's been many motor cars arrive there over the years. What motor car? What relevance is this to the name, "Scotland Yard"? Also, did you know this is for the name "Scotland Yard", and not a specific building? CassiantoTalk 20:12, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
