Suckage and Failure
[edit]The most obviously missing part of this article is about the complete failure of this concept and in general how badly this show sucked. As well it could delve into how "adding a cute new character" to shows is an indicator that they have already failed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.93.14.152 (talk) 14:10, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979 TV series) → Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo – The title without parentheses is currently a disambiguation page, but it shouldn't be. All the other entries are either partial title matches or aren't even similar to the primary title and should be removed. I'd have removed them already, but that seemed dishonest to do while also proposing this move. -- Fyrael (talk) 16:38, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 18:52, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Neutral, but keep the dab page. The other series, while not called "Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo" exactly, are often confused with the 1979 series, so it's helpful to still have the dab page exist even if it's at Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (disambiguation). Paintspot Infez (talk) 19:38, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- I don't see any entries there that satisfy MOS:DABNOENTRY. The fact that they involve similar characters doesn't mean they belong on a disambiguation page. -- Fyrael (talk) 22:17, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom. And I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for these pesky move requests! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:27, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose, and in any result keep the dab page. The (1979 TV series) is helpful. Even Scooby Doo experts would be hard pressed to distinguish. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:41, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose The 1980-1983 shorts were repackaged under the "Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo" banner (even using the 1979 opening credits) and have been shown around the world under that title for decades now. This is covered under the article Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1980 TV series) which wasn't on the disambiguation page until now. Timrollpickering (talk) 11:26, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose - Proposed title may also refer to, respectively, Scooby-Doo (character) and Scrappy-Doo... and the short-lived duo gimmick lasting from 1979 to early 1980s in numerous shows. The dabpage can already give readers an impression about the talking puppy... and the naming gimmicks. George Ho (talk) 23:14, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
