To few sources
This article is based off only two sources. I think an objective and more comprehensive overview of this subject can only be achieved through a larger variety of sources.BenPlotke (talk) 23:20, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Grammar errors
This page is riddled with grammar errors. That should be attended to by some one who is comfortable with both English grammar and the the subject. BenPlotke (talk) 23:22, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
History Gap
This was in the main article. I moved it to the talk page because it is written like a discussion and not like an encyclopedic article.
Huge gap from empire to 1980. Either nothing happened or those who know are afraid to write this part of the story. Will anyone provide this piece of critically important history of Brazil? I am eager to know what happened from 1900 to 1980 in Brazil. I am sure there were ups and downs but they should be credited to whomever was responsible for them.
A paragraph to the same effect could be included if it was rewritten in an encyclopedic style and provided with reliable source/s stating the existence of such a history gap. BenPlotke (talk) 23:28, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Richard Feynman in Brazil
In the book "Surly You're Joking Mr. Feynman!" it briefly discusses his experiences teaching in Brazil in the 50s. He talks about the problem of them learning by rote. I think this is relevant to the article and should be included. Does anyone else agree? BenPlotke (talk) 00:26, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Proposal to change title
I propose aligning the title of this page with that of the great majority of articles to Science and technology in Brazil (category: science and technology by country).--Susan Schneegans (talk) 07:25, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
