Good Humor ice cream commercial?
[edit]Is it relevant that the song was used in a Good Humor ice cream commercial, with the lyrics changed to "I'm the Good Humor man!" Mang 20:47, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm very wary of making a real Cultural References section for the sake of it not exploding with cruft, so I'd hold off on adding that particular factoid if I were you to be honest. Chris Cunningham 09:39, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
it was also used in a mac ad from 1995. [1] vanis 06:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
double-CD or two seperate CDs?
[edit]Looking at Scatman (Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop)#Single track listing and the two Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) listings at last.fm and wondering if Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) was released as a double-CD or seperately as two single-CDs? --EarthFurst 00:10, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Scatmansingle.JPG
[edit]Image:Scatmansingle.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

WoW Funeral Raid
[edit]Shouldn't it be mentioned that this song's popularity really took off when it was used in that World of Warcraft Funeral raid? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHJVolaC8pw Doshindude (talk) 06:48, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
I think there should be some verification that this is at all notable outside of a small clique of WoW players. Most people don't know or care what happens on a MMORPG. 86.21.225.156 (talk) 14:53, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
The song sold millions of copies in the 90s, still gets played in clubs all over the world and is instantly recognisable to people who don't even know what a MMO is, and you really think the song's popularity 'really took off' when some nerds pranked some other nerds in 2006? Hmm, how logical. Definitely not a surplus, irrelevant piece of information.
