The Sawtooth Valley, here viewed from the Galena Summit, is located in central Idaho, United States. About 30 miles (50 km) long, the valley is part of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in the Sawtooth National Forest. The entire length of the valley is traversed by State Highway 75; the valley also contains several large lakes, including Redfish, Alturas, Pettit, and Stanley.Photograph: Acroterion
