Saul the Edomite is just the benjaminite Saul under different tradition.
[edit]Just check the list of the edomite kings. You'll find Hadad on it. Hadad, who shows up after countless pages in 1 Kings 11. Saul being just at the right distance in generations to exist in the same time aas his benjaminite counterpart. Both kings, both despised in one way or another, they share the name, and we know very different traditions provided source-material for the biblical texts (in one Shem's all descendants are told to be destroyed (bashing their skulls) by the Chosen People, The Arian Race). So ye, in the original the two characters are the very same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:AB88:370C:1480:2097:C78A:CC8D:E61A (talk) 16:33, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
