Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... this is an article about a government organization. It is an important organization that sees over the 1 million + people of Saskatchewan. This is most certainly an encyclopedic topic, if any government organization can be considered encyclopedic. The information is factual and impartial. The page is currently a work in progress. --RoboticAnthropod (talk) 00:46, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hello! Please cite more reliable sources on the article for verification and please add more context on why is the subject important. Mediran talk|contribs 01:18, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
How do you mean? There will be more sources cited as the article expands, and I think the Commission's website is the most reliable source. And for defending its importance, I'm not sure how to go about justifying it better. The SHRC is a body within the Saskatchewan Government, and I think that any government body, provincial/state or federal, is of encyclopedic nature. This is especially important because it is in the area of human rights, and the people of Saskatchewan should be able to find its information on Wikipedia. --RoboticAnthropod (talk) 02:13, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

The article consists almost entirely of long quotations from various sources. It needs someone who know about Canadian human rights law to review it thoroughly. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 17:14, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
