Statistics?
[edit]Some statistics about this plant would be useful. How much does it cost to make a kwh from solar PV in cloudy Ontario? How many GWhr per year does this plant make? Why solar PV in Ontario, for that matter? --Wtshymanski (talk) 14:38, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- For an investor, Ontario is the place to build photovoltaics in 2012, due to the very high FIT - CDN0.80/kWh for small systems (half for large ones like this one), and hence return on your investment. Ukraine also has a high FIT, but the loan risk is higher there than in Canada. See also the Sault Ste Marie Solar Park, and the many Canadian locations in the List of monitored photovoltaic power stations. Apteva (talk) 09:05, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
