Date of birth
[edit]@Enock4seth: The current date of birth in the article should be removed because it is not backed by reliable sources. The MTV source isn't reliable because it is a replica of this revision of the article. Although this source looks reliable, it contradicts the information published by Ghanaweb and Joy Online. I feel that information about his date of birth should be removed from the article until we can establish his correct DOB. Versace1608 (Talk) 00:01, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
- Hi @Versace1608:, I agree with you, and thanks for pointing this out. →Enock4seth (talk) 10:18, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

Great pointing that out @Enoch4seth. I know for sure he's a 10th July born but not really certain with the year. NiddoOfficial (talk) 20:03, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
For the interested. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:03, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
- Sarkodie easily meet notability criteria (WP:ANYBIO, WP:MUSIC) and so I can't see the article being deleted.--SamHolt6 (talk) 13:25, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
- Agreed. I think they were spooked by the $-sign. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:00, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
Undisclosed paid editing tag
[edit]This is as good a time as ever to explain the undisclosed paid editing tag. I placed the tag with this edit [1] after finding that multiple editors associated with Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Daniel Kobe Ricks Jr/Archive, a large, prolific sockfarm that edits for pay, normally targeting articles related to the Ghanaian music industry. The farm is being perpetuated by a marketing company, the FFHypeTeam, per Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard/Archive_132#FFHypeTEAM_sockring and Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard/Archive_133#Possible*_return_of_FFHypeTEAM_sockring. The last member of the team to edit this article was here [2], and this diff [3] was one of the an earlier series of edits made by another sock, and here [4] are the contributions from another blocked sock from the same farm. A second sockfarm (Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/DaWn ODG/Archive) also has taken an interest in this article in the past. As seen through several recent edits by other editors, the article also needs to be cleaned up, and so the tag is warranted.--SamHolt6 (talk) 20:59, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Add some of his new awards and albums. Make edits to his recognition. Joel Awatey Gammah (talk) 20:15, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not done. Edit requests are requests to make precise, specific edits, not general pleas for article improvement. Please suggest any specific additions that you want and provide reliable sources. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 22:15, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
