Dear MER-C, although the page was created by an account now blocked for copyright infringement, the page is really important and should not be deleted. From a swift appraisal, it doesn't seem like there is any copyright infringement. Is there someway that it could be checked for copyright infringement rather than just deleted? I'm happy to do this if necessary. Thanks very much, Srsval (talk) 07:28, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Both the content and the editor who wrote it are untrustworthy. Given how old the copyvio is, there is no guarantee the copyvio source is still on the web, or is a print or translated source. I'm not willing to expend community manpower on salvaging the contributions of copyright violating sockpuppeteers. I advise a rewrite from scratch at Talk:Sarah B. Pomeroy/Temp, which I will replace the article with at the expiry of the listing. MER-C10:29, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi MER-C - I've written a new page in the Temp space as suggested, and was just wondering when the listing is due to expire, so that this article can be replaced with that new page? It'd be good to get this page up and running, as she's an important figure! KateCook (talk) 10:30, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
