"Sapphire" as a word for a stereotype about black women

[edit]

I'm talking about the term found on Wikipedia at Angry Black Woman (says "is also known as the Sapphire") and briefly summarized at Stereotypes of African Americans#Sapphire. I'd like to be bold, but I don't know under which category this belongs or precisely how to name it. Thank you. 174.55.186.24 (talk) 05:39, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've added an entry for it. -- Fyrael (talk) 20:01, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

65th?

[edit]

I've always understood a sapphire anniversary to be a 45th - a meaning supported by Wiktionary. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sapphire#Adjective Koro Neil (talk) 06:40, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article for Sapphire jubilee explains it (at least a little). -- Fyrael (talk) 04:34, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
