Translation of Santiago
[edit]Santiago can not be translated as Saint James, the correct translation should be Saint Jacob (Santiago=San Yago = San Jacobo, which translates as Saint Jacob) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.42.206.23 (talk) 04:46, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
- James is an Anglicisation of Jacob - and in this case the saint in question is Saint James (the apostle) who is not referred to as Jacob in English. All the best, Simon Burchell (talk) 08:30, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
