[edit]The caption of the photo of the facade indicates Carlo Maderno as the sculptor of the statues of St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Peter of Verona. Is there any source for this attribution? I have never encountered any sculptures attributed to architect Carlo Maderno. Could they be by sculptor Stefano Maderno (Carlo Maderno's contemporary, but apparently no relation)?
