Santa Barbara Airport Advertising
[edit]The Santa Barbara Airport Advertising section is basically some press release copy, probably from the mentioned advertising company. Definitely not NPOV as stands. Clean up or just remove? Doesn't seem terribly relevant. 70.68.102.190 (talk) 08:37, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
History
[edit]The History section is not so much history about the airport but trivia pieces and advertisements for the Flying Club. I'll do what I can, but I haven't the time to really clean it up. Gyre 04:06, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Route map removal
[edit]The route map is old and out-dated. The airport doesn't have many of the flights that are on the route map such as flights to DFW, SJC, PDX. I will remove the route map. Do not add the same exact route map again.

Denver
[edit]Why do so many passengers per year travel from Santa Barbara to Denver? Is there any connection between the two cities? The article doesn't make this clear. Thanks — Amakuru (talk) 12:02, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- I would guess that the large numbers of Denver and Phoenix passengers are because those airports are hubs for connecting flights to other destinations across the country. Dreamyshade (talk) 02:01, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
- Dreamyshade is correct -- in my experience, travelers like going to Denver to connect in part do to the number of connections (especially on the East coast) but also the fact that the types of planes that fly to Denver (and Phoenix) are larger. I'm not sure if we can or should include general fleet information. I will look at other airports to see if there is a standard for this. Flyingdog147 (talk) 00:09, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
