The article says it grows in Central Europe, why is it in the group Flora of Alaska? 65.167.146.130 (talk) 18:33, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Incorrect species and cultivar names given
[edit]The cultivar list is not correct. Black Lace® (the cultivar 'Eva') is a species of Sambucus nigra, according to the patent application. Since it was bred at the East Malling Research Station in the UK, they are probably right. Patent # 15,575 https://image-ppubs.uspto.gov/dirsearch-public/print/downloadPdf/PP15575. Notice that Black Lace is a registered trademark of Proven Winners, and NOT the cultivar name. Lemony Lace® is also a trademark, not a cultivar. The plant is however S. racemosa, ‘SMNSRD4’ (PP# 26,613). There is no such plant as 'Lemon Lace', that's just an error. You did, however, get 'Sutherland Gold' right. 2A01:CB1D:2E:3500:6921:A814:36D2:3201 (talk) 16:51, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
