External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on SS Scillin. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20110716053929/http://www.sheernessheritagecentre.com/page24hmsubsahib.htm to http://www.sheernessheritagecentre.com/page24hmsubsahib.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

They were expendable
[edit]Let me quote a few sentences from the article: "If transports that carried POWs were not attacked at all, it would have been obvious that the Allies had prior knowledge of the ships' cargo. [...] Scillin was only one example of Allied POWs being killed when enemy ships were sunk in the Mediterranean. Five others had been sunk in the preceding year with 2,000 casualties; Ultra had predicted each of the POW transportations." Do I get it right? This means that Allied commanders deliberately ordered the sinking of ships containing British PoWs just because there was a remote possibility that "Ultra" could have been compromised otherwise? Congratulations for having leaders with such a fine spirit of humanity, Tommy! Now we know how Trump and BoJo were possible. Long live capitalism! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:E2:3709:F893:2D13:FF76:8BCC:EA0 (talk) 15:13, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
