Consolidation
[edit]Merged a separate article, much of text duplicating construction & history here with a bit of DANFS, concerning the very brief (28 March-25 July 1919) Navy service. As one of the Panama Canal ships, thus War Department as the canal was under War Department control, the ship had extensive and significant history beyond four voyages as a Navy transport.
