  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
    One awkward tag to fix.
    Is this better?
    B. MoS compliance:
Hore and Tarrant need a place of publication.
    Added. Parsecboy (talk) 21:08, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
Was Hessen damaged at all during WWII? Have you checked Rohwer?
I haven't seen anything on the ship during the war other than the icebreaking mission for the raiders and a note about the ship being used as a target by some squadron or other of dive-bombers in 1940. I don't have access to Rohwer though. Parsecboy (talk) 21:08, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing in Rohwer, I just checked.
    B. Focused:
Were the men killed crewmen of Hessen or of the torpedo boat? Ammo expenditure numbers in the second Jutland para do not match earlier account. I'd read Hessen fired her main battery five times as saying that the ship fired five volleys, not five individual guns. Plus that doesn't include the main gun rounds fired at the imaginary submarine. Double check the numbers, please. Might be worth mentioning that some of her guns, IIRC, were turned into RR guns.
Most of this has been addressed; I haven't seen anything about Hessen's guns in particular as railroad guns. Do you know of a source? Parsecboy (talk) 21:08, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, see 28 cm SK L/40 "Bruno"; it's all cited there.
I'll check it out in the morning. Parsecboy (talk) 03:37, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
