This article previously stated in error, Ruth had studied at Bauhaus as a child (the Bauhaus school closed by 1933, she would have been age 10). This statement was in error, as her mother Marie Adler had studied at Bauhaus and not Ruth Adler (and the citation reflects this editing error). This citation was sourced from the website "Michigan Modern" published by the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office. I am unclear why this would be considered a questionable citation or source (as stated in the WP edit history), besides the source being from a government office, the website also includes their own sources/citations for their publication. If there is further issue with this citation, please use the talk page. Thank you. Jooojay (talk) 07:58, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ruth Adler Schnee's role in contemporary textile design
Adding here to the talk for further discussion. The following sentence was removed from the lede recently, "She is one of the many founding figures of contemporary textile design in the United States." It seems uncontroversial of a statement since the term "contemporary" derives a specific time period (see Contemporary art). She opened her design firm in 1948 in the U.S., which would be considered the start of the "contemporary era", and her work was influential within textile design.
