  • I have received this note a lot in the past, but make sure that all of the works/publishers are linked in every single reference (i.e. Rap-Up).  Not done no need for link stuff in every source, once its linked one time its fine WP:CONTEXT. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:58, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for the note. That makes sense to me; I was only pass along that note as I have received a lot during source reviews for FAC, but I agree with you. Aoba47 (talk) 14:11, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Soundtrack.Net and Philtimes.com.au should not be in italics in the references. The same comment applies for Idolator and AllMusic.  Done
  • Any information on where the song was recorded? I would imagine that information would be present in the album's liner notes. If you could can find it, then please add it to the infobox? Same goes for the year that the song was recorded (if you can locate that bit of information).
I can't access the inlay notes right now if you don't mind to wait until the weekend. But I don't think it was provided, it just said that the album was recorded at levcon studios and other places. But I will double check. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:48, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I can definitely wait for that as there is no rush for this review at all. I just wanted to make sure about this information; I know that sometimes this information is not available for all songs so I completely understand if the inlay notes provide more generic information on where the entire album was recorded instead of individual songs. Aoba47 (talk) 14:13, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I only have that, no reference to where it was recorded only his second and third studio album have that. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:36, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please add a reference for "scratchy guitarlines" in the lead or paraphrase this part.  Done
  • Something about this sentence sounds off/incomplete to me (Ken Tucker of NPR found hard to categorize the recording.). Maybe add "found it hard"?  Done
  • In the phrase " a lady's man, playboy", I do not believe you need both words as it is a little repetitive, and I think you can either keep "a lady's man" or "a playboy" in this context.  Done
  • This is more of a nitpick, but do you have a source that clearly ties the song's appearance on three charts with his X-Factor performance. While this may be a common sense connection, I was just curious if there were any sources that made this connection to avoid accusations of original research.  Done
I couldn't found anything regrding this matter. What would you wish me to do? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:46, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I will say that it should be fine as it stands as the connection between the performance and the chart appearances seem pretty evident (especially given that it is an album track and there was not likely that much in the way of promotion of this song in this country outside of that performance). My only concern was that someone may call this connection original research as it is not directly cited in a source, but I think it is fine. Thank you addressing this. • Avoid contractions (i.e. "shouldn't) by spelling them out.  Done
  • For the phrase (Levine was in charge of engineered the song), I believe you mean (Levine was in charge of engineering the song).  Done
  • Something seems off with the phrase ("Runaway Baby" tells), as the song is not telling the message (the singer, narrator, character can "tell" something, but attributing this action to the song itself sounds a little odd to me).  Done
It was an embodiment of the song. But I have changed it now. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:06, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for the correction; again, this is just a note that I have received in the past when my articles on songs/albums were reviewed for as part of the GAN process so I wanted to pass that note down too. Aoba47 (talk) 15:54, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Final comment
  • Wonderful work with this as always. I have very few and relatively minor comments/requests for changes. Once my review is addressed, I will pass this. Aoba47 (talk) 20:07, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for responding to my comments so far. Once the last two comments are addressed (studio and commercial performance following X Factor), I will pass this. Aoba47 (talk) 14:17, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
