Quer: A search of Google at this time shows only two matches between your suggested common name and the species name, both of them old versions of your previous edits to Wikipedia. [1] The name of the flavour is an invented term for an artificial flavour. Somehow you have gotten misled about a connection between them. Meggar 06:56, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Meggar: the natural blue raspberry and its flavors were reinvented when there was no access to fresh fruits from the west coast. The now everywhere used "Blue raspberry flavor" did not come from a mad man's brain- it was obtained from Rubus leucodermis, which by no means is a "Black Raspberry" but a blue one. Go out to the woods and look yourself as we american indigenous people do since long before wiki or the war.--Quer 01:01, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scotch cap

[edit]

Scotch cap redirects here; why? It's not referred to on the page. 121.45.195.248 (talk) 12:37, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it should certainly be on the page. Britton & Brown list it as a common name (extract here). This should have a disambiguation page though. Would you like to make the changes? I'm busy, so it would take me at least a week to get to doing it. (The history of the page should be checked, perhaps some good material has been deleted.) This site is not correctly linked to the sites of most other languages. I tried to change this but it didn't work. Here's the Portugese version: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amora-silvestre and the German version: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubus_occidentalis --81.6.59.42 (talk) 19:46, 27 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
