Trying to find some history on this structure, i see fish counts in state records for above and below the dam going back to the early 1940s, but no definite date on when this was built, or any of the story around it. Nothingofwater (talk) 19:43, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Found the date on the BLM page, looks like1939. I also found a series of photos on the OSU page from the early 40s of this and other diversion dams and irrigation projects on the Yakima. I cant put them directly in the article as the site says permission is required to use the images, but i think i am on safe ground putting a link to the OSU page in the 'external links' section, like i did for Horn Rapids Dam...
