Parish boundary marker on lampposts

It seemed highly unlikely to me that lampposts would align with the boundary. Having checked Google Street View for the location of the many such lampposts and the last OS map with the boundary, it is clear that the seal is being used as a decorative device for the lampposts rather than marking the boundary. This makes sense as it is impractical to instal street lamps to mark a boundary. The caption should change to reflect this. MRSC (talk) 07:06, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
