Palace, not Castle
[edit]The building is, and always has been, very clearly labelled 'Schloß'. It never was a fortress of any sort, and never was meant to look like one. Why would anyone translate 'Schloß' as 'castle' under these circumstances? 'Palace' cannot be misunderstood, 'castle' can. HMallison (talk) 23:28, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
- This is a similar issue to New Castle (Stuttgart) and Castle Solitude on the outskirts of Stuttgart. It's not worth fretting about as there are many instances of palaces or even country houses being called a castle, as a form of royal residence. Most notably Castle Howard.
