A fact from Rosemary Stjernstedt appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 2 November 2015 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the London-based architect Rosemary Stjernstedt was the first woman to reach senior grade I status in a British council county division?
I’m personally related to the late Rosemary Stjernstedt (she was my 1st cousin 2x removed), and can assure you that her birth name and the names listed as her parents are incorrect. Her birth name was Rosemary Owen Smith (Owen being her middle name, a deference to her mother’s maiden name). Her parents were banker Rupert Harry Smith and Dorothy Owen. Here is archive material of the Church of England records held at the Library of Birmingham (via Ancestry.com) to back this up: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/sharing/20034404?h=330276
I have tried to edit the page, but my editing skills are lacking, I keep causing more errors elsewhere, specifically the erroneous Swedish reference for her parents. Can someone help? Zhfb113 (talk) 23:24, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve had another go at editing and it seems to have worked. I hope that the edit complies with all associated policies. Zhfb113 (talk) 15:25, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
