E. Wing is there any way I can improve the article so that it can be allowed?
Same article appears in Dutsch???
Actually, as per WP:NOTNEWS, it states that "Articles about items in the news are only considered encyclopedic if they are verifiably of significant lasting and historical interest and impact" and "Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia which means that there is no practical limit to the number of topics we can cover or the total amount of content. However, it is also not an indiscriminate collection of information and it is not newspaper". But I think that you can put this article on Wikinews (www.wikinews.org) and/or add the info on the Rwandan Genocide article. E Wing (talk) 13:29, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was looking for information about Rose Kabuye and landed on this page. If it had been deleted, the information would not have been readily available. I do think there is justification to have such an article in an encyclopedia, because an encyclopedia is where I go to get background information - including information about a current affairs issue! 84.144.122.7 (talk) 12:33, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
