Opening paragraph needs work re: date of transfer from Germany to Japan
[edit]Currently, the 3rd sentence reads:
Under the Treaty of Versailles, Japan took over in 1914.
This isn't right. The Treaty of Versailles wasn't signed until June 1919. I don't know - maybe the Treaty of Versailles confirmed Japanese control. Anyway, needs work. Oaklandguy (talk) 02:55, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
Little island in the middle when they were joined
[edit]My father worked on Roi-Namur in 1970's and said there was a little island in between them called anadrickdrick (sp?) which was incorporated when they filled it in. They got tired of calling it roi-anadrickdrick-namur and shortened it to just roi-namur. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.225.0.198 (talk) 16:11, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
