Only Loss
[edit]"Huerta's only loss came as a result of a dislocated jaw early in the finals of the SuperBrawl 36 tournament against Ryan Schultz on June 18, 2004, his third match of the day. [3]."
This quote from the article sounds unprofessionally subjective and biased. It would like saying that someone failed a test only because they didn't study or lost a fortune only because they bet on the wrong horse. Huerta is a great MMA fighter but this sounds like it was written by an apologist. Corrected.

Actually I see no "Only" there to describe his loss, it's merely saying how his only loss came about, it's not written in the way you describe it. MMAnzi (talk) 07:49, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

It seems weird to have this one sentence hanging there about his pre-UFC career. It needs to either be removed or beefed up with other information about that time in his life. (In order to make the section chronological, I moved it to the beginning of the section. Perhaps, it should have its own section.) --Tiger MarcROAR! 02:10, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
5 de Mayo
[edit]Rumors say that he will be fighting by May 5th in Mexico along with the return of Tito Ortiz could someone confirm that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vik.sanchez (talk • contribs) 16:23, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Why is an interview posted by Roger's Management company not permissible?
[edit]Chicken Wing, can you kindly tell me why North County Fight Club, who represents Roger, can't put a link on his Wikipedia page? It's to a recent video interview and seems relevant. I've checked the rules regarding links and don't see the problem. Also, we can check with Roger about any questions regarding the accuracy of the info posted herein. Just let me know. Thanks. - Your edits appear to be a violation of the policies regarding SPAM and conflict of interest. Plus, the link itself seems to add only marginally to the substance of the article. If you feel that I am mistaken in interpreting these policies, you can probably find a third-party editor or administrator that will side with you in restoring the edits. Who The F Deleted the last fight
[edit]Unofficial or not, it happened and it is considered a victory. http://www.bjpenn.com/video/huerta-street-fight no signature from me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.234.141.233 (talk) 20:58, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- I the F deleted the last fight. The chart is for sanctioned fights that go on his record. As I said in my edit summary, if you have actual sources that can be used as a reference, write about it in the body of the article. But I'd suggest an actual news report to meet WP:BLP sourcing needs.--Cube lurker (talk) 21:02, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- For anyone reading this without backgroung apparently there's video of a fight in a street between Huerta and a man who struck a woman.--Cube lurker (talk) 21:03, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
To me that video shows two guys fighting the black guy, with one of them kicking him in the head when he is down. This is not a proud moment for anyone. CSDarrow (talk) 21:26, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Roger Huerta. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for //www.twincities.com/ci_7490291?source=most_viewed
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090303224931/http://www.ufc.com:80/RogerHuerta to http://www.ufc.com/RogerHuerta
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
