Bio
[edit]It would be good to expand a bit more (with references) on Rod Temperton himself.--BSTemple (talk) 07:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:Boogie Nights - Heatwave.jpg
[edit]The image File:Boogie Nights - Heatwave.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

BBC Radio 2 documentary
[edit]A recording of the full BBC Radio 2 documentary (1 hr, 54 m), narrated by Paul Gambaccini is available on YouTube. Can't post the link, of course, as that would be copyvio. Let's hope the BBC put it back up on iPlayer. But this bit doesn't feature:
- "In 1972 Temperton and guitarist Bernd Springer formed a soul cover band called Sundown Carousel. With Temperton on an old Hammond organ the band performed in clubs and GI bars in cities such as Mannheim." - which makes it look a bit suspect. I can't find any kind of web source for any of it, so I think it should go until a source is found. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:41, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
Songs written
[edit]On the basis that the list of song credits should, in my view, only contain notable songs, either with their own articles or which made the charts, I suggest replacing the existing list with a table. I've prepared one and will include it now - but happy to discuss further here. Ghmyrtle (talk) 12:38, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Sounds perfectly reasonable. Perhaps an overall count of the number of his songs that have been recorded and released commercially might also be useful somewhere. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:08, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
