Title discussion
[edit] Moved from User talk:DBigXray
Khalsi inscription Thank you for your comment! I am really seeing both spellings, about equal in number: Kalsi and Khalsi. I added both in the introduction. Thank you! पाटलिपुत्र (talk) 16:46, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- OK I also dont think this is an inscription. it is an edict. a stone. not a language or a script. [2] --DBigXray 16:56, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right, I was a bit uneasy with just "inscription" to start with, but it's not just an edict, as there are 14 of them on the Khalsi rock. Stone would be smaller.... I kind of like "Rock edicts of Khalsi". पाटलिपुत्र (talk) 17:05, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I think the current title is better than previous. but we already have a WP:COMMONNAME policy to guide us here. Can you list the sources and what word they use to call it below. That list will help us to decide on the popular name for it. --DBigXray 11:51, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
