Release

[edit]
  • Not sure this is the best section for the pictures according to its caption.
I suppose it could go in legacy section. I was trying to have some illustration stating that this was the song that specifically made Run-DMC stars (as the member says), but I could move it down. No big deal. Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:27, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Music video

[edit]
  • Should this be a subsection?
I figured there was enough information about the video. When doing research I saw several articles talking about it being the earliest hip hop music videos played on MTV (further research says it wasn't, I can't pin point what was, but more accurately was it was the first to go into regular rotation). When doing research on the article, I found significant information about the video, so I figured it deserved its own little bit. Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:27, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrzejbanas: I was thinking it deserved its own section. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:20, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is it appropriate to put in a year if its not part of the original quote? Andrzejbanas (talk) 20:32, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It is, don't worry. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:24, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not quite sure what you want me to do here. If it's just to add the same sources in this section, I re-added them at the end of the sentence. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:17, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That was it. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:19, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's because there is no link to the article here. I had to do some archive digging to dig it out.Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:28, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Did you dig it out? It does't look like it. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:40, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is no online source for it is what I meant to say. :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 00:05, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • There are a ocuple more accessdates missing
I've added some for the ones that were added by the Archive.org bot (what a useful tool!) Some however were not available online, so they have no accessdate. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:28, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Rolling Stone source is on copyright violation, needs to be fixed See.
I believe I have covered the Rolling stone copyright issue by tightening it up a bit. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:37, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @MarioSoulTruthFan: I believe I've either addressed or at least commented on everything you wrote. If there is anything else to do I'll gladly take a look. How's it looking? Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:37, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
