Partner
[edit]Who was Windsor's partner? The text says Davide Cini, sourced to digitalspy. The infobox says Marcus Collins (with no source). Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 09:44, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- A way more interesting question would be the cause of his death, methinks.

- That may or not be "more interesting". Regardless of his death, we currently have a conflict in content and are also lacking any sources. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:22, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- Seems to now be sorted. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:42, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Strictly results tables
[edit]I think these will all have been copied from the individual Strictly Come Dancing season articles. Are sources required here for all results? Should all of the tables be collapsed by default? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:46, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Date of death
[edit]The current source for the date of death is the obituary in The Times here, which says: "He died of undisclosed causes on February 20, 2024, aged 44
." Are there any other sources which contradict this? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:44, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- Does that paywalled obit really mention his primary school? Belbury (talk) 18:25, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- It seems unlikely, but you never know. We'll have to hope that an editor with a subscription can tell us. I squandered my first look at that source by confirming the dates of birth and death. I'm pretty sure he didn't die at Clifford Road Primary. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:39, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- If you want to add a statement back to a biographical article citing a source that you can't access and which you believe to be "unlikely" to actually support that statement, then please add a {{verification needed}} template to your footnote, or (better still) a regular {{citation needed}} instead. Belbury (talk) 14:14, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, you don't think I just added the ref in the wrong place? Here's a source for Clifford Road Primary and here's a source for Spring Road. Martinevans123 (talk) 14:31, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know, I took your "you never know" as an optimist's reason for putting the footnote where you did, when I questioned it. If you didn't mean to restore the primary school content or forgot to put a citation needed tag on it, okay. Belbury (talk) 14:37, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- I was concerned about his date of death (subject of this thread?) I had assumed that the BBC source supported those minor two place details. But I now see that it does not. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 14:43, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Is this report in the Daily Express sufficient to counter the claim in The Times? It says: " Robin's death was announced on Monday, 19 February, by the dance company Burn The Floor." WP:RSPSOURCES says: "The Daily Express is a tabloid with a number of similarities to the Daily Mail. It is considered generally unreliable." Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:48, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
The original post, on the "Burn the Floor" Facebook page, was made at 00.52 on 20 February. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:31, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
The Daily Mirror here says that he "was found dead in a London hotel room on Monday", which was 19 February. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:36, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
This Twitter image, of the funeral order of service, was recently added as a source for a date of death of 19 February. I believe this was added in good faith and it strongly suggests that the correct date is indeed 19 February. However, I do not believe it is regarded as WP:RS. Are there are other good sources? I have added "cn" tags for now. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:21, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
Middle name
[edit]Companies House here confirms his middle name was Jamie. This is also supported by the FreeBMD record of birth here. However, these sources are not generally accepted as WP:RS. So I propose using this source from the Birmingham Mail. Perhaps there are other better ones? Martinevans123 (talk) 21:08, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
- The Twitter image, of the funeral order of service, also confirms. Martinevans123 (talk) 08:29, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
