Article / Last Known Sighting

[edit]

Working on an article. Can anyone confirm that his last known sighting was in Arizona? Also, when authorities made this statement ("In April of 2012, authorities announced that they believe Robert Fisher may still be located in Arizona") - did they cite a source? Grammar?

[edit]

"He was named by the FBI as the 475th fugitive to be placed on the list of FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives on June 29, 2002."

Wow, they sure put a lot of fugitives on the list on that date!

No. It needs a comma.47.44.96.195 (talk) 17:37, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Many of this article's sources are ostensibly archived, yet clicking on any archive link gets this page. Not sure what went wrong.--Quisqualis (talk) 18:36, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Add a WP:DATECOMMA after "April 13, 1961".
  • "William Fisher, a banker, and mother, Jan Howell" – reword
  • Remove the comma after "in California".
  • "As of April 2003, FBI had" → "By April 2003, the FBI had"
  • "as as firefighter" → "as a firefighter"
  • Archive sources (you can use this).
  • References #12 and #13 should be properly cited.
  • That's it. Ping when done. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 13:24, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Some Dude From North Carolina. I've finished with most of this. I have added the tool to archive sources from my account, but I don't know how to use it. Is there a need for sources to be archived? I don't think it's required. Everything else is done. Display name 99 (talk) 14:42, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Toyota 4Runner abandoned location

[edit]

It is not clear from the article where the 4Runner was abandoned. The first location is Tonto National Forest near Payson and Young, but the two towns are almost 60 miles apart.

Another location stated in the article is one mile from Fort Apache Reservation (which seems to border Tonto National Forest).

I found that it was abandoned

My stab at a summary using the above sources is:

  • The Toyota 4Runner was abandoned in eastern Tonto National Forest, near Young Highway and about one mile from the western border of the Fort Apache reservation.

How does that sound?–CaroleHenson (talk) 05:22, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your post. I have adjusted the content, as it seems to have been closer to Young. Some sources describe the location as being near Payson, a confusion I think that arises from Payson being at the end of a highway from which one would turn to reach Young. Robert William Fisher Apprehension Imminent

[edit]

Sources that are the most reliable we have in human history has informed our headquarters that the fugitive has been located and we believe confidently at this time is in the custody of federal agents at the time of this posting we also are assured this post does not jeopardize his capture or the safety of other innocent individuals in proximity of Robert William Fisher our sources would not have divulged such sensitive information had Fisher not already been neutralized.

We wanted the AIC to be the first to report this awesome 💯 news.

23 years almost to the day lets guess 24 is not his lucky number and Jeff Gordon isn't his fan.
