Greetings, Wikipedians! Having read this article, I have to ask: does Bevan meet our "notable" standard? Aside from being a senior partner of a bank, and owning a lot of land, I can't identify anything about this man that qualifies him for his own article. This article lists no notable contributions to his profession; no role in national or local politics or charitable work; no scholarly (or popular) books or essays; no professional societies recognized his contributions to banking; and no honors bestowed on him by royalty. The fact that he was the father of a conspiracy theorist doesn't make him notable either. I don't wish to be mean-spirited, and I mean no disrespect to his descendants, but it seems to me that if the article cannot be enhanced to highlight such accomplishments, it should be a candidate for deletion.
