Central Park no-go zone?

[edit]

In the Drug addiction and mental health section it's mentioned that the Central Park neighbourhood is (or was) a "police declared no-go zone." I have never heard of any such WPS declared "no-go zone" and there's no mention of it in the source provided. I went searching for a source and found this article, which seems to have been misconstrued by the public as a "no-go zone" warning (despite it being fairly standard safety advice). I'm going to remove the line from the article as it seems to be incorrect. If anyone has any sources that back the claim up, please correct my edit. Much appreciated, friend! -Avery Trashmouth — Preceding undated comment added 16:28, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
